At just 25 years old, Michael was a dedicated father to two young children, a loving son and brother, and a committed friend who touched many lives with his kindness, bravery, and selflessness.
Michael served honorably as an army sergeant and was pursuing his dream of joining the sheriff academy, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to helping others. He also worked as an HPO at a hospital, supporting patients and colleagues with dedication and compassion.
Friends and family have shared their grief and support online. Brennan Hatzioannou, organizing a fundraiser for Michael’s family, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the community's generosity, noting, "I have no words for the amount of kindness and support shown to my family during this incredibly difficult time."
