Sean Ryan Dempsey, Beloved Yonkers Resident, Passes Away at 33
Sean Ryan Dempsey, a cherished member of the Yonkers community, tragically passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 33. Born on June 26, 1992, in the Bronx, New York, Sean's untimely departure has left loved ones and friends mourning.
Known for his vibrant spirit and warmth, Sean's life was a shining example of kindness and resilience. His memory will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Family members have expressed heartfelt condolences, saying that Sean’s presence in their lives will be deeply missed, but his light will continue to shine brightly in their hearts.
Visitation services will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hodder-Farenga Funeral Home in Yonkers. A funeral Mass will follow on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 10:45 AM at St. Barnabas Church in the Bronx.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cardinal Spellman High School Football Program, a cause close to Sean’s heart.
