Harry Hindemith, Beloved Handyman and Dedicated Member of FC Internationale, Dies Peacefully at the Age of 70 in Berlin, Germany

Harry Hindemith, a cherished member of the FC Internationale family, passed away peacefully on April 4th, 2026, around midday. He was 70 years old. Harry had been an integral part of the club since 2020, serving as a devoted groundskeeper. His friendly and reliable nature made him a beloved figure, and his skills as a trained craftsman were highly valued by the club's members.

Harry's passion for helping others extended beyond his job as he was always ready to lend a hand, especially when it came to small repairs. His humor and patience made him a joy to work with, and many will remember how he patiently explained tasks to those less skilled or, on occasion, took on the repairs himself.

In recent years, due to illness, Harry could no longer perform his duties at the club but maintained close ties through his wife, Ute, and fellow staff members. He continued to stay in contact with FC Internationale, although he was unable to visit the club's grounds. Harry's legacy will remain strong in the hearts of those who knew him.

As the FC Internationale community mourns, heartfelt tributes are pouring in. Anton Klischewski, a close friend and colleague, expressed his sorrow, saying, "We will never forget Harry and the dedication he brought to his work. Our thoughts are with Ute during this difficult time."

A fundraiser has been organized to support Harry’s wife, Ute, with funeral expenses, with all funds raised going directly toward the memorial services.

Harry’s passing marks the end of a remarkable life filled with kindness, hard work, and dedication. He leaves behind a loving family and a community that will never forget his contributions.
