Kayce Lorraine Young, Beloved Daughter and Sister, Passes Away at 32 in Oak Ridge, TN
Kayce Lorraine Young tragically passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 32, leaving her family and community heartbroken. A cherished daughter and sister, Kayce's unexpected loss has left an undeniable void.
She is survived by her parents, William and Tammy Young, as well as her brothers William Young (Elizabeth Ward) and Gered Young (Jessica Young). Her nieces and nephews—Lilliana, Carmellia, Sofia, Tucker, Michael, Lilah, and Parker—were an important part of her life. Kayce’s passing also leaves behind her aunt Tammy Young, cousins Sara, Alyssa, and Cody, and her uncle Michael Edelblut (Tina Edelblut), all of whom loved her dearly.
Kayce was predeceased by her grandparents, William and Linda Young, and Gerhard and Carmellia Edelblut, as well as her great-aunt Hallie Woodworth and her cousin Jason. The loss of Kayce has deeply affected her entire family, who are mourning her passing.
Family and friends have gathered to remember her during the visitation held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weatherford Mortuary in Oak Ridge, TN. In honor of Kayce, her family asks those who wish to pay tribute to consider donating to a charity in need.
